Artist Statement:
“You’ll Find Yourself” is something I say to myself when I’ve gone through life’s hardships or experienced a sense of loss. Saying those words helps remind me of how beautiful life is and encourages me to remain grateful, even during difficult times.
About the artist:
Raymond Argumedo is an artist whose practice is shaped by profound personal loss and deep spiritual inquiry. After witnessing his brother’s death at the age of ten in their childhood neighborhood, Argumedo turned to art as a means of processing grief and honoring memory. His work draws from ancient cultures, mythology, spirituality, and cosmology, weaving these influences into visual narratives that explore themes of transcendence and connection. Through his murals and paintings, Argumedo creates spaces where the sacred and the personal intersect, offering viewers portals into realms beyond the everyday.s beyond the everyday.
